Department of transportation physical services

Our medical examiner will perform the following services during your DOT Physical Exam:

  • Blood Pressure and Pulse
  • Hearing Test
  • Health History Review
  • Physical Exam
  • Urinalysis
  • Vision Test

DOT physical exams help identify health issues that could affect a driver’s ability to safely operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV). Federal law requires all CMV drivers to pass a DOT physical exam given by a certified medical examiner.

We offer DOT physicals at most of our AppleCare clinic locations, with no appointment needed.

Important notice

AppleCare does offer rapid testing in all of our centers. Due to the spike in cases outside of the state the government has redirected supplies to those high case areas. We are expecting a shipment soon but do not have a specified date at this time. Due to the rapid supply shortage, AppleCare will be performing PCR nasopharyngeal send-out diagnostic testing until supplies are restored. We thank you for your patience as this is out of our control at this time. Please contact the center to inquire about status or watch here for updates.
